About Finest City Dance

Finest City Dance champions the world of Breaking and Street Dancing in San Diego, California, by organizing a diverse range of events, competitions, performances, workshops, and classes. Born out of community spirit and aimed at developing local talent, Finest City Dance is committed to providing valuable opportunities and mentorship for both emerging and established dancers. Its goal is to cultivate a thriving dance culture and support the artistic growth of the next generation of street dancers.

Our Finest City Dance Lab is a private dance studio space, known as the SD Street Dance Sanctuary, for its intimate training environment for dancers to simply “lab” — a shared process where dancers teach, create, learn, apply, and session together. Street dance disciplines were built from the streets to the garage, so this space is our ode to staying raw but impactful, as a co-creative space for dancers of all styles.
